I’m Taking Requests

I don’t have a guest booked for episode 47, which is coming up next week. I kind of wanted to do a solo episode, so I didn’t work too hard to find a guest, to be honest. The only problem is that it’s occurred to me that I don’t have a topic. So, I’m opening it up to you … the listener. Hit me up on my contact form or, preferably, in comments on this post. Let me know what you’d like to hear about. Obviously the topic needs to be something I know a bit about, otherwise I’ll just have to make it up … so try to keep it related to marketing, public relations, social media, or Web 2.0.

Fire away!

  1. Selfishly, I was wondering if you might have a cast about how self-employed people prioritize what makes them money and what doesn’t! We have a service focused on self-employed individuals and small businesses. I’m finding that folks are forced to do their own books (if they’re responsible) and ignore them (if they’re not.) Please check us out .

  2. Interesting idea. Not exactly in the area of PR, marketing, or social media/Web 2.0, and thus something for which I’d probably want to bring on a guest … but a good idea nonetheless. I’ll check out your site.

  3. Have you done anything about the importance of good storytelling in business? Without a compelling, authentic story about its value in the marketplace, an organization is barely treading water in the get-attention game. “Everyday low prices” doesn’t cut it, nor does “new and improved”. Using “leveraged solutions” is pretty lame, too…

This is, of course, a blatant pitch for having me as a guest.

  4. I have zero problem with blatant pitches when they’re relevant … and this one is.
