Startup BizCast #62 – Small Business Viral Marketing (Dave Saunders)

I love it when someone emails a friend about my business.  How would you like it if thousands of people were emailing friends about something you created?  When something on the Internet gains that kind of traction and gets spread around from friend to friend, it’s said that it’s “gone viral”.  In this episode of Startup BizCast, I visit the office of Dave Saunders, president of advertising and new media firm Madison + Main, to talk about how you can use viral marketing to benefit your small business.

In BizCast Brief:  How to prepare for a disaster such as a hurricane, and problems with small business insurance subsidies in Maryland.

Also … a big thanks!

Startup BizCast on Facebook

I’ve started a Facebook group for Startup BizCast.  It’s a great way for listeners to network and not only learn from each other but also perhaps trade some business.  This podcast has plenty of listeners and is growing each week, so I’m hoping it will be a great resource for everyone!  I’ll also be posting special previews of upcoming shows.  My hope is also that it will be a great way to contact my guests, as I’m planning to invite each new guest to join the group as well.  If you head over there, you’ll notice that this week’s guest, Dave Saunders, has already joined the group.  Casey Quinlan, who was my guest in episode 47, is also a member of the group.

If you’re a Facebook member, all you have to do is click the banner above or this link, and then join up to the group.  If you’re not a Facebook member, join up!  It’s fun, and a great way to network!
